This Toyota crossover sports a crisp steering and composed handling. The Rav-4’s ride quality is firm as the brakes provide athletic stopping power. Road bumps and dips are fairly soaked up.
With a decent fuel economy estimates from EPA, compared to other crossovers in its class, the new Rav-4 is a good bargain. With the front-wheel-drive, the Rav-4 gets an estimated rating of 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel-drive version drops to 27 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. Rav-4 hybrid is fuel-efficient, with a combined EPA estimate of 40 mpg.
According to EPA estimates, the 2021 Rav-4 Prime can go 42 miles on electric power alone. Its EPA estimated equivalent in combined city/highway driving stands at 94 mpg, which is favorable for a plug-in hybrid.
Inside the 2021 Rav-4 is a pleasing interior that sports quality materials and attractive features. The cabin is spacious and quiet, seating up to five people. Both the front and the back seats are comfortable, with ample head and legroom space. The cargo hold is spacious enough for a compact SUV.
