Why The 2022 BMW xDrive 840i Coupe Lease Deals Is So Desirable
If you think that large luxury sedans are too old-fashioned for you or that midsize luxury sedans are too conventional for you, you might consider leasing the new BMW xDrive…
Cadillac’s best-selling model, the XT5 crossover, is receiving a facelift for the 2020 model year. It gains a new turbocharged engine, slightly massaged styling, new tech features, and an updated trim level hierarchy that matches other Cadillac models. It is great to lease a Cadillac XT5 and enjoy the power that lies within. A much quieter ride than before is promised so you have to see how the features work out.
Bigger changes, however, live below the XT5’s metal cover. The model houses a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four as its entry-level engine. The engine produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, which it channels to the drive wheels by way of a nine-speed automatic transmission. Specific to the 2.0-liter-equipped XT5 is an electrically assisted power braking system that features an electric motor instead of a booster.
Those in search of more power can have a 3.6-liter V6 engine which produces 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque in the Premium Luxury model. The V6 is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and comes standard on the more dynamic Sport model. This lets you shift through the different power trains with ease.
The Sport, the twin-clutch rear differential brakes the inside rear wheel while cornering for better handling. This allows torque to be applied to a rear-wheel independently. There is no over spin just smooth handling.
The XT5’s three trim levels now come in three trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. The Premium Luxury model has brighter exterior trim and cushier driving experience, while the Sport model is a much sportier experience with retuned steering and suspension setups and dark exterior trim. Each trim level gets its own interior color schemes.
Compared to the previous model, the front grille gets a new design with different mesh textures depending on the trim level. The front and rear bumpers have been restyled, LED headlights are now standard, the LED taillights have different graphics, and there are new wheel designs ranging from 18 to 20 inches.
On the inside, the center console has been redesigned and the XT5 gets Cadillac’s new infotainment system that’s operated by a rotary controller on the center console. The 8-inch display is also a touchscreen. Inside, Cadillac adds its latest infotainment set up as a well-revised gauge cluster, a reworked center console, and a dedicated switch for disabling the automatic start/stop function.
In 2020 the Cadillac has fitted the XT5 with a number of new standard comfort, convenience, and safety features. These include heated front seats, LED headlights, automatic high-beam headlights, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic front braking with pedestrian detection, and the brand’s safety alert driver’s seat, which buzzes to notify the driver of safety concerns.
Other updates a new optional Bose Performance Series sound system, available night vision, and improved digital gauge cluster and backup-camera displays. All perfect features in a Cadillac lease deal.
