The 2020 Chevrolet is one of the biggest SUVs around, which means it great for carrying people and hauling their possessions. With a front bench seat, the Suburban can hold up to nine people. It has plenty of room behind its third-row seat for cargo. The 2020 Suburban is really luxurious for its size.
Engine Choice and Performance
There’s a choice of two engines for 2020 Chevrolet Suburban lease: a standard 355-hp 5.3-liter V-8 and an optional 420-hp 6.2-liter V-8. All models come with either rear or all-wheel drive. The smaller engine has a six-speed automatic transmission. The bigger V-8 has a fabulous 10-speed automatic. Unsurprisingly, the upgraded powertrain is much speedier driving from zero to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds as opposed to 6.9. The standard engine had plenty of power to move your family around town or all over the country.
The Suburban drives with controlled body motions and accurate steering. The Suburban has standard adaptive dampers and massive 22-inch wheels which add to the smooth ride. Its firm and responsive brake pedal was particularly effective for such a huge machine.
Fuel Economy On The Busy Streets
Although the Suburban’s two V-8 engines utilize cylinder-deactivation technology to save fuel, this large SUV will use a lot of gas. However, in tests, thy have observed 19 mpg on our 200-mile highway fuel-economy route. The optional 6.2-liter V-8 with all-wheel drive at 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway. In tests its did 23 mpg on that same route.
Inside You Will Love The Long Drive
Inside, the Suburban has a huge dashboard with a well-placed central console for ease of use. A nice feature is the soft door armrests which provide comfort on long trips. The Suburban’s high seating provides a panoramic view of the road. The three-row SUV can be fitted with second-row captain’s chairs for comfort. There are many upgrades available including a head-up display, heated steering wheel, and ventilated front seats which are available at the top of the range.
With numerous trays throughout the cabin, the Suburban has convenient interior storage. A power-operated liftgate and power-folding third-row are available, but the latter is reserved for the top model. The Suburban has 39 cubic feet behind the third row and up to 95 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded. You will be able to fit many bags and boxes easily.
Connected To The World
Every Suburban has an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 4G LTE mobile hotspot. The infotainment system has lots of charging points including five USB ports and five 12-volt outlets. Most models also offer a Bose sound system, rear-seat entertainment system, and wireless charging. Even though the Suburban does not come with many driver-assistance features it is highly rated in many safety tests.
