Fuel Economy
With turbo six-cylinders and twin-turbo V8s come mediocre fuel ratings. Still, the S 500 managed to get a decent rating of 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Upgrading to the V8-powered S 580 plunges the rating to 16 mpg city and 25 highway.
Interior
The S-Class’s interior is a world of unending comfort and premium luxury, with the German luxury automaker opting for screens over conventional buttons and knobs. The full-size sedan’s center stack is outfitted with a vertically-inclined 12.8-inch OLED touchscreen running on an enhanced version of Mercedes’ MBUX software.
