If you think living the American dream in 2023 entails having the latest Escalade in your garage, we can’t agree more. The new Escalade is the epitome of ultra-luxurious living. From its tremendous road presence to its next-generation features, the Escalade is a must-have for shoppers seeking premium comfort. Thanks to VIP Auto, it’s much easier to lease a 2023 Cadillac Escalade in New York than ever. Read along as we unveil the astonishing features of this six-figure hauler.
For the 2023 model year, Cadillac introduced Escalade V, a new performance-enhanced version of its full-size luxury SUV. The new Escalade uses a monstrous 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 that cranks out an insane 682 horsepower and 670 pound-feet of torque. This hearty V8 makes the massive Escalade look like a CT4 with a stunning 0-to-60 time of 4.3 seconds. The Escalade V also features standard all-wheel drive, six-piston Brembo brakes, and modified air suspension.
The Escalade’s default engine remains a 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 that develops 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Shoppers looking for something more frugal can opt for the torque-rich 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine that generates 277 horses and 460 pound-feet of torque. Both engines pair with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission and rear- or all-wheel drive. The Escalade is designed for composed ride quality and premium comfort, so it uses air suspension with adaptive dampers.
We don’t expect high fuel ratings when there is a supercharged V8 in the mix, but the available six-cylinder turbo-diesel gives us something to write home about. It has an EPA-rated 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
Inside, the Cadillac Escalade lives up to its reputation as America’s best six-figure full-size luxury SUV. It features a leather-wrapped dashboard, natural wood finish, aluminum speaker grilles, and expensive design accents. The flagship Cadillac also offers various top-tier comfort amenities and futuristic tech features. The main talking point of the Escalade’s interior is its head-turning, curved digital dashboard with up to 38 inches of screens. The standard Escalade gets faux leather seats, a 19-speaker AKG audio system, tri-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting and other essential features. Shoppers can deck out their Escalade with optional features such as quilted semi-aniline leather seats, a head-up display, an AKG Studio Reference 36-speaker audio system, etc. Cadillac also offers a long-wheelbase variant of the Escalade with more legroom for third-row passengers.
As expected, the Escalade gets Cadillac’s high-tech driver assistance features including;
