Why The 2022 BMW xDrive 840i Coupe Lease Deals Is So Desirable
If you think that large luxury sedans are too old-fashioned for you or that midsize luxury sedans are too conventional for you, you might consider leasing the new BMW xDrive…
The eSprinter is set to become the latest Mercedes-Benz model to complete an electric transition when it hits showrooms in 2024. The eSprinter will square up against its natural rival, the Ford E-Transit, which was launched in 2022.
The traditional gas-fed Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has always been the top-choice cargo van for most delivery companies and adventurous buyers, given its spacious interior, class-leading comfort and tech features, and versatility. We expect the upcoming eSprinter to follow the Sprinter’s footsteps quietly and uphold the legacy of Mercedes-Benz Vans.
Want to know more about Mercedes-Benz EV lease deals? Here’s what we can say about the 2024 eSprinter.
The forthcoming all-electric Mercedes-Benz eSprinter will be available with one electric motor that drives the cargo van’s rear wheels alone. The base model will churn out 134 horsepower, but we’ve got our eyes on an optional 201-hp model with up to 295 lb-ft of torque. The eSprinter is built for everything but speed, as its top speed is limited to 75 miles per hour. However, its power output numbers are still less than the 211 horsepower from its gas-fed sibling and far from the Ford E-Transit’s maximum output of 266 horses. For now, the German automaker has not given the green light on any dual-motor all-wheel-drive model for the United States. Mercedes-Benz has not released the eSprinter’s maximum towing capacity, but its max payload capacity will be 2,624 lbs.
The 2024 eSprinter will use a 113 kWh battery pack that can deliver upwards of 200 miles driving range. According to Mercedes-Benz, the battery juices from 10 to 80 percent in 42 minutes when hooked to a DC fast charger.
According to Mercedes, the eSprinter will offer 488 cubic feet of cargo space which is slightly larger than the Ford E-Transit (487) but less than the 533 cubic feet of the gasoline-powered van. Being the product of a luxury car manufacturer, we expect to see a more refined interior, more upscale than what is obtainable in rival cargo vans. Delivery drivers will enjoy comfy heated seats and improved infotainment with an optional 10.3-inch touchscreen display running Mercedes-Benz’s latest infotainment software.
Just like the regular Sprinter, Mercedes Benz will equip the eSprinter with a slew of safety and driver assistance features to ensure the driver’s safety and protection of goods. These features include;
