EPA reveals that the most efficient 2023 iX is the xDrive50, equipped with 20-inch wheels. It is rated 86 MPGe in the city and 87 MPGe on the highway.
Interior
Inside, the iX goes for a simple, modern, and practical design. Like every BMV EV, the iX features a large, curved 14.9-inch infotainment display merged with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Regarding space, the iX is about the same size as the mid-size X5 SUV and offers similar passenger and cargo capacities. Eye-catching details inside the iX include a hexagonal-shaped steering wheel, the electrochromic shading on its panoramic sunroof, a glass rotary controller, touch-sensitive surfaces rendered in open-pore wood, etc.
